🌍 How We Do Automatic Translation

Your store has customers from many countries. Shoply automatically understands which language a visitor prefers, and replies in that language — without you doing any extra work.

Respond Customer’s question in their own languages

When customers ask Shoply Chat or search in Shoply AI Search in certain language, Shoply will automatically respond in that language. This feature requires no configuration from the store owner’s side, and it is free!

Automatic Translation for Pre-defined Messages and Other UI Components

Shoply lets store owners customize a wide range of pre-defined messages in both Shoply AI Chat and Shoply AI Search. For example, you can set the welcome message that customers see when they first open the chat or search window.

You can write these messages in your preferred language, and Shoply can automatically translate them into the customer’s language Only Available for Paid Plans. If you’re not satisfied with the automatic translation, you can easily edit the translated text to match your exact tone and style.

When a shopper visits your store, our system checks several hints from the browser and your store’s website URL to understand customer’s preferred language.
